I have not tested completely, but if you delete a barn with resources in it, it will NOT go back into your shared storage. The cost of the building as well as its contents will be deposited into your Base. I wanted to move something long distance and i had to break the route up with a Silo. The wagon does not show an error if out of range it just doesn't move. Delivery distance for Wagons (possibly others too not tested) seems to be limited to about 150 squares.The reference is actually pretty useful and has all of the tips in one place so you can scan through them!! Make sure you have sufficient income being generated before deploying these buildings. Foresters Mines and Farms all cost coins to operate!!! Different coins based on the raw material being produced.It will show you the amount and type of coin you will get for delivering each good to the town. To see the value of all goods press the coin button in the lower left of the screen.Similiar to the pipette tool Q key in factorio. Hover over an item and press the C key.I usually delete the worker and respawn them. You can remove an item off a transport path by choosing the Move action (key M) and clicking on the path (chute or conveyor).You can also limit the barn to only one type with the Item Filter button below the 4 storage rows. Click on one of the rows under the Storage header and you can select that storage good type. Storage in Barns can be filtered by selecting the barn and going to the window in the upper right corner.I really wish this behavior was consistent. A buildup of leather DOES stop the production of fertilizer. But fertilizer can be used as fuel so don't let it go to waste either! On the other hand the opposite is not true. Fertilizer buildup does not stop a Pasture from producing the other good.Grass can be turned off in the options menu.Roads and Conveyors and other path elements (scaffold etc) can be built at a level elevation by dragging with mouse and pressing LeftControl.Under the build menu select Tools and Remove Resource or Terrain Flatten UpDown. ![]() You can delete raw materials from the map as well as terraform the land.Filter the grabber to limit to a single good type. Then put a conveyor underneath the grabber and items will flow out. Put a grabber adjacent to a building pointing away from it. Items can be removed from a building from any side up to height of 3.All the harvested raw materials will travel on a chute as well as the produced goods that come out of a Grain Mill. Only some items will travel on a chute and chutes don't move items uphill.You can rotate buildings by selecting them and pressing the R key. Houses that have been upgraded also return their upgrade cost. The cost of the building will be deposited into your Base, the contents will be deleted. You can delete a building (except the Base) by selecting it and pressing the Delete key.Otherwise they often get blocked by each other. It is also advisable to make a 2 wide path that any workers are going to be traversing. Worker will harvest raw material and deliver to building. Right click on a tree and hold mouse down. If you right click and hold the button down on a good you can drag it to another building (ie the market) and tell the worker to deliver the good there. The third row (red arrow) tells the worker to remove the good from the building. The second row (green arrow) tells the worker to deliver that good to the building. A popup will appear The first row tells the worker to deposit their currently held good into the building. Workers can be configured to deliver specific goods to specific locationsįirst click on a worker.I don't see a way at this time to add another row to the view though. Have an item or building selected and Press Shift+# to change the shortcut on the active bar.įor the shared inventory view in the upper left, click on the item and choose a new item from the popup. Press function keys (F1 F2 etc) to switch between the bars. Hope this helps someone.ġ.There are multiple shortcut bars and you can customize them (as well as the inventory display on the upper left).
